Welcome to the Kosovo Accreditation Agency

The Kosovo Accreditation Agency, in accordance with the Law on Higher Education, is an independent institution responsible for internal and external quality assurance. Its duties include accreditation, re-accreditation, monitoring, validation, and all other quality-assurance processes for higher education institutions and their study programs in the Republic of Kosovo, in line with international best practices, particularly the relevant European standards for quality assurance in higher education.

The mission of the KAA is to promote a culture of quality in higher education institutions through independent and external evaluation, transparency, and continuous improvement.

KAA’s decisions are made independently and are based on consistent and verifiable reasoning.

KAA is guided by the principles of responsibility and public accountability through an effective information policy.

KAA organizes credible external quality assurance processes in which the academic community and society at large have confidence in the work of KAA.
