Accreditation<\/strong> is a process through which an independent body verifies whether higher education institutions and their study programs meet internationally recognized quality standards. It ensures that institutions fulfill the conditions of quality teaching, learning, and governance for a defined accreditation period.<\/p>

At the institutional level, accreditation begins with an internal self-evaluation where the higher education institution reviews its governance, academic programs, staff qualifications, research output, student services, resources, and overall performance. This review is documented in a report that shows how the institution meets the required criteria and identifies areas for improvement.<\/p>

Following the internal review, an external evaluation is carried out by an independent accreditation body, which appoints a panel of experts to verify the institution\u2019s information, assess its operations, and evaluate its compliance with national and international standards. The process usually includes a site visit, interviews with staff and students, and analysis of supporting evidence.<\/p>
