KAA and the Italian Embassy discuss about the possibility of opening study programs in the Italian language
The General Director of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), Naim Gashi, received the Ambassador of Italy in Kosovo, Mr. Antonello De Riu, with whom they discussed about the possibility of opening study programs in Italian language in higher education institutions in Kosovo.
Director Gashi expressed the willingness of the institution he leads to provide professional assistance in the field of accreditation to look for possibilities of opening study programs in Italian language in Kosovo.
Ambassador De Riu said that Italy encourages cooperation in the field of education with Kosovo.
Ambassador De Riu and Director Gashi have agreed to support the opening of a studdy program in Italian language in a public institution of higher education.
Director Gashi said that there is no legal restriction for HEIs to add Italian language courses to accredited programs, because the Agency respects the autonomy of higher education institutions.
This meeting was also used to discuss about the increase of the number of Italian experts participating as external evaluators in the Accreditation Agency.
