The State Council of Quality (SCQ) of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) held its 123rd meeting on May 20, 2024, during which it reviewed several accreditation reports by international experts and made decisions regarding them. In this meeting, the SCQ also reviewed several appeals and requests from higher education institutions. Additionally, the SCQ was briefed by the KAA administration on the progress of the accreditation and monitoring process of higher education institutions in Kosovo.

The Director General of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), Naim Gashi, expressed his gratitude to the Program Manager of the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), Miguel Alves De Morais Neto, during a meeting in Pristina. He thanked ADA for its continuous support in enhancing the technical and professional capacities of KAA. The Kosova Accreditation Agency (KAA) and the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) are discussing possibilities for collaboration. A delegation from KAA participated in the International Conference of THEQC in Ankara and held meetings with counterparts from agencies across Europe. The State Council of Quality (SQC) of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), in an extraordinary meeting held on April 29, 2024, approved the Regulation for the Accreditation Manual, which aligns with the new accreditation standards. During this meeting, the SQC reviewed the accepted comments from the public discussion and made decisions regarding them. During its 122nd session on April 22, 2024, the State Council of Quality (SCQ) of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) reviewed and made decisions regarding several reports at the institutional and programmatic levels of accreditation. The meeting also addressed appeals and requests from higher education institutions. Furthermore, the State Quality Council discussed the dynamics of drafting and approving internal regulations and procedures of the Agency, aimed at enhancing the quality of higher education.

During the ENQA General Assembly, held at the 2024 Forum in Hanover, Germany, across three consecutive panels, Director General of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency, Naim Gashi, presented the findings of the project on "The Role of Accreditation Agencies in the Internationalization of Higher Education in Europe." The Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), in collaboration with American professor Christine Austin, has developed the document: Thematic Analysis of Processes Involved in Accrediting/Reaccrediting Study Programs: A Three-Year Review of Accreditation Processes for a Study Program (at both bachelor's and master's levels) at three public and three private institutions in the Republic of Kosovo. Following the approval by the State Council of Quality (SCQ), the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) on 29.03.2024 invites all stakeholders in higher education to provide their comments on the draft Accreditation Manual, which stems from the new Accreditation Standards approved last year. The State Council of Quality and the staff of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency, on March 25th and 26th, 2024, conducted the workshop where they reviewed the new draft of the Accreditation Manual.
