The State Council of Quality (SCQ) of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) held its regular meeting on 04.10.2022 where a number of items of the agenda were discussed. In this meeting, two reports of international experts were revised and decided upon, as well as a number of requestas and appeals of higher education institutions. SCQ has welcomed the recent decision of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) to grant KAA the affiliate member status.

A delegation of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) was received in Zagreb by the heads of the Croatian Agency for Science in Higher Education (AZVO), where they discussed the intensification of cooperation to improve quality in higher education. The State Council of Quality (SCQ) of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) at its 104th meeting, held on 01.09.2022, has reviewed and decided on the reports of international experts for doctoral programs. In this meeting, the SCQ reviewed and made a decision on all complaints and requests of higher education institutions in the Republic of Kosovo. The Kosovo Accreditation Agency (AKA) has welcomed today's decision of the Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (MESTI), Mrs. Arbërie Nagavci, for "the compatibility of scientific works and publications with the research ethics of the academic staff of higher education institutions (HEIs)". With the legislation in force and internal regulations, the KAA applies the "Research" and the "Academic Integrity" standards during the accreditation process. Heads of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (AKA) were received in Podgorica by the representatives of the Agency for Quality Control and Assurance (ACQAHE) in Montenegro, with whom they discussed interstate cooperation in the field of quality assurance in higher education. The State Quality Council (SQC) of the Kosovo Agency for Accreditation (KAA) held on 14.07.2022, the 102nd meeting, in which the reports of international accreditation experts were reviewed. After these decisions, HEI in Kosovo will have opportunity to announce calls for recruitment of students in all accredited programs in the Republic of Kosovo.
