KAA Organizes Training on the Online Application System for Accreditation Processes

Pristina, 27 June 2025 – The Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) has organized a training session to mark the launch of its new online application component for accreditation processes by Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the Republic of Kosovo.

The training was conducted by Mr. Kastriot Ilazi, the Agency’s Systems and Database Administrator, in collaboration with the KAA’s technical support staff. Participants included vice-rectors and quality assurance coordinators from both public and private HEIs across the country.

The newly developed digital platform enables remote submission of applications for institutional and program accreditation or reaccreditation, the declaration of academic staff for each study program, and direct integration with the systems of the Civil Registration Agency (ARC) and the Tax Administration of Kosovo (TAK).

Through this initiative, KAA aims to further enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and transparency in the higher education system, while facilitating institutional interaction and significantly reducing administrative burdens.

The implementation of this platform marks the completion of the digitalization cycle of KAA’s internal processes, thereby establishing a functional and integrated ecosystem that connects the Accreditation Agency, the State Council of Quality (SCQ), higher education institutions, students, and the general public.

The Agency will continue to provide technical support and additional training for institutional users to ensure a smooth and effective transition to the new system.
