KAA Participates in ENQA Workshop on the Use of Artificial Intelligence
Representatives of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) participated in the workshop organized by the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), held on 11–12 June 2025 in Tallinn, Estonia.
The central theme of the workshop was “The Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence in Quality Assurance Agencies,” focusing on the opportunities and challenges that AI presents in evaluation and accreditation processes within higher education systems.
KAA was represented at this significant European event by its Director General, Mr. Naim Gashi; the student member of the KAA Board, Ms. Shkurtë Bajgora; as well as division heads Ms. Merita Rama and Mr. Besim Jonuzaj.
Throughout the workshop, representatives from quality assurance agencies across Europe engaged in discussions on the ethical and effective use of artificial intelligence, with particular attention to its potential impact on decision-making, transparency, and objectivity in accreditation procedures.
Participants also shared best practices and concrete experiences from ENQA member agencies, with the aim of shaping a common European approach to the integration of technology in higher education quality assurance.
KAA’s participation in this workshop reaffirms its commitment to staying aligned with the latest developments in the field of quality assurance and to embracing innovative methods that can enhance accreditation processes in accordance with European standards.
