KAA Staff Participate in ENQA Seminar “European Dimension of Quality Assurance”
Two senior officials of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), Ms. Kaltrina Hyseni and Ms. Leona Barbatovci, participated in the seminar organized by the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) on the topic “European Dimension of Quality Assurance”, held on 9 September 2025 in Brussels, Belgium, at the Royal Library of Belgium.
This seminar gathered representatives from quality assurance agencies and institutions across Europe to discuss the latest developments in higher education quality assurance policies and practices. The key topics included the Bologna Process, the European Commission’s priorities in higher education, the role of key stakeholder organizations in the European Higher Education Area, and the ongoing revision of the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance (ESG).
During the event, the KAA representatives had the opportunity to exchange experiences and strengthen cooperation with international partners. In particular, they held discussions with Mr. Aleksandar Šušnjar, Director of EQAR, and Ms. Anna Gover, Director of ENQA, who congratulated Kosovo on its membership in EQAR and commended KAA’s contribution to the further development of quality assurance in the region.
The active participation of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency in this seminar reflects its commitment to strengthening quality standards and ensuring the dignified representation of Kosovo in the international higher education arena.
