SCQ visits Universum College, discussions about promoting scientific research
During a meeting with the leaders of Universum College, the State Council of Quality (SCQ) encouraged higher education institutions in Kosovo to invest in the field of scientific research and academic exchanges, as this directly affects the quality of education.
The Head of the SCQ, Professor Hasnije Ilazi, spoke about the best international practices, how investments in scientific research and academic exchanges have affected the quality of higher education.
The President of Universum College, Alejtin Berisha, said that the setting of new standards by the SCQ is encouraging higher education institutions to invest more in scientific research. Berisha said that in this institution there is a Department for scientific research which provides support for academic staff to publish research in international journals.
During the meeting with the students of this college, the director of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency, Naim Gashi, encouraged them to make maximum use of study time for teaching, in order to become the required graduates in the labor market.
