The main priority of SCQ and KAA is to the return to ENQA and EQAR
During a meeting with the leaders of the University of Prizren “Ukshin Hoti”, the chairwoman of the State Council of Quality (SCQ), Professor Hasnije Ilazi said that the main priority of the institution she leads is the return of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency to the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) and the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR).
Head of SCQ Ilazi said that the Kosovo Accreditation Agency last week updated a dynamic plan for the return to ENQA and EQAR and that it is satisfied with the level of fulfilment of the criteria. The head of the SCQ has requested from the Assembly of Kosovo to approve the Law on the KAA as soon as possible in order to pave the way for the approval of bylaws and strategic documents.
Acting Rector of the University of Prizren, Samedin Krrabaj said that it is expected that the university to receive some investments in infrastructure to improve conditions for students and academic staff.
SCQ leaders also met with student representatives of the University of Prizren, who presented their concerns and ideas for improving quality assurance processes.
SCQ member, Professor Krenare Pireva Nuçi, said that the suggestions and ideas of students occupy a very important place in the decision-making process in this institution.
