The State Council of Quality (SCQ) of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), during a visit to the Faculty of Islamic Studies (FIS), was received by the management of this faculty, with whom they discussed strengthening mechanisms for enhancing the quality of the programs offered at this higher education institution.

The SCQ delegation, led by President Hasnije Ilazi, was welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Islam Hasani, together with his associates. On this occasion, Dean Hasani expressed his appreciation for the continuous cooperation and support provided by KAA in accreditation processes, while also presenting a brief overview of the history of FIS and the key developments of the institution.

During the meeting, the faculty’s latest initiatives were also highlighted, including the establishment of the Leadership Academy as well as the doctoral program offered by FIS in cooperation with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).

On behalf of the SCQ, President Ilazi thanked the hosts for their hospitality and praised the level of cooperation between FIS and KAA, emphasizing the Agency’s ongoing efforts to enhance quality in higher education institutions.

The purpose of the visit was for SCQ members to gain a closer insight into the conditions and infrastructure that FIS provides for its students.
