The State Council of Quality (SCQ) decided on the supplementing of the Accreditation Manual
The State Council of Quality (SCQ) of the Republic of Kosovo in its meeting held on September 7th, 2021, decided to supplment the Basic Principles of the Accreditation Manual, respectively points 3, 4 and 5 have been added, while the accreditation standards at the level of programs and at the institutional level have remained the same.
- In point 3 of the general principles of the Accreditation Manual, the criteria for accreditation of General Medicine programs are supplemented.
- In point 4 of the general principles of the Accreditation Manual are supplemented the criteria for accreditation of branches of higher education institutions.
- In point 5 of the general principles of the Accreditation Manual, the criteria for scientific research for the bearers of study programs at bachelor and master level are supplemented.
From October 1st 2021, In addition to the criteria set by the AI for Accreditation, heads of programs at the bachelor level must have at least 1 (one) indexed scientific publication, from the field of study / program, while at the master level must have at least 2 (two) papers from the field of study / program, in journals indexed as first or corresponding author, according to article 3, point 1.1 WEB OF SCIENCES core collection (SCIE, SSCI and AHCI) and 1.2 SCOPUS, excluding dubious journals or publishing houses according to AI 01/2018 approved by MEST.
