During a visit to the University of Mitrovica “Isa Boletini” (UMIB) on 20.12.2021, the Head of the State Quality Council (SCQ), Professor Hasnije Ilazi, asked the institutions of higher education (HEIs) in Kosovo to create more plenty of space for new staff.
Head of SCQ, Ilazi said that the inclusion of young professionals in the higher education system, especially in areas where there is a lack of certain profiles, directly affects the quality of study programs.

Rector of UMIB, Alush Musaj, said that the cooperation and support from the Accreditation Agency has had a very positive impact on the implementation of quality standards and has created space for the development of public universities.
Rector Musaj said that his institution is involved in all working groups and public consultations conducted by the Accreditation Agency to create new accreditation policies and standards.
Together with the President Ilazi, for a visit to UMIB, was also the member of the SCQ, Professor Dukagjin Zeka and the director of KAA, Naim Gashi.
