KAA Approves the Professional Development Plan for Its Staff (2026–2028)
The Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) has approved the Professional Development Plan for its staff during a workshop organized with the aim of strengthening professional, technical, and organizational capacities for the three-year period 2026–2028.
This strategic plan seeks to enhance the quality of staff performance through the development of professional competencies, the advanced use of KAA’s digital platforms, the strengthening of professional communication with higher education institutions (HEIs), and the alignment of practices with the European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance (ESG 2015).
The plan foresees a wide range of activities, including internal workshops, professional training programmes, participation in international conferences and study visits, hands-on training in the use of the e-accreditation platform, as well as capacity building in data analysis, reporting, and the management of monitoring processes.
Furthermore, the document includes activities related to management certification and representation in regional and international quality assurance events.
The implementation of this plan is expected to contribute to increased efficiency and transparency in the monitoring of HEIs, improved quality of accreditation and monitoring reports as well as post-accreditation procedures, and a higher level of technological integration across KAA’s operational processes.
Through this plan, KAA aims to ensure that its staff are well-prepared, highly competent, and fully aligned with contemporary national and international requirements for quality assurance in higher education.
