The Information Systems Administrator at the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (AKA), Kastriot Ilazi, conducted a training session on July 5, 2024, for higher education institutions regarding the process of declaring academic staff on the new E-Accreditation platform. This training was attended by quality coordinators and systems administrators from higher education institutions. On July 3, 2024, local and international members of the State Council of Quality (KShC) visited the Faculty of Education at the University of Prishtina. They met with the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Blerim Saqipi, and the Vice-Rector of UP, Professor Njomza Llullaku. In its 124th meeting, held on June 25, 2024, the State Council of Quality (SCQ) of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) reviewed the reports of international accreditation experts and made decisions regarding them. A delegation from the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) is participating in the proceedings of the Assembly of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) and the 2024 Forum, being held in Bucharest, Romania. The State Council of Quality (SCQ) of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) held its 123rd meeting on May 20, 2024, during which it reviewed several accreditation reports by international experts and made decisions regarding them. In this meeting, the SCQ also reviewed several appeals and requests from higher education institutions. Additionally, the SCQ was briefed by the KAA administration on the progress of the accreditation and monitoring process of higher education institutions in Kosovo.

The Director General of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), Naim Gashi, expressed his gratitude to the Program Manager of the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), Miguel Alves De Morais Neto, during a meeting in Pristina. He thanked ADA for its continuous support in enhancing the technical and professional capacities of KAA. The Kosova Accreditation Agency (KAA) and the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) are discussing possibilities for collaboration. A delegation from KAA participated in the International Conference of THEQC in Ankara and held meetings with counterparts from agencies across Europe. The State Council of Quality (SQC) of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), in an extraordinary meeting held on April 29, 2024, approved the Regulation for the Accreditation Manual, which aligns with the new accreditation standards. During this meeting, the SQC reviewed the accepted comments from the public discussion and made decisions regarding them. The Accreditation Manual is a result of the new accreditation standards previously approved by the SQC, following a comprehensive process involving all stakeholders in higher education in the Republic of Kosovo.
