CHEA President: We are proud to welcome KAA into the international community
On the occasion of the recognition of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency as an accrediting authority by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation in the United States of America (CHEA), CHEA President, Nasser H. Paydar, through a video message, welcomed KAA into a growing international community committed to advancing academic quality and fostering mutual learning across nations and cultures.
“We are proud to welcome KAA into a growing international community committed to advancing academic quality and fostering mutual learning across nations and cultures,” emphasized CHEA President, Nasser H. Paydar.
In his video message addressed to the Agency, President Paydar described this achievement as an important moment for the quality assurance system in higher education in Kosovo.
He emphasized that “CHEA Recognition reflects a strong commitment to academic quality, institutional integrity, transparency, and continuous improvement.”
The CHEA President stated that KAA’s recognition is especially meaningful because it reflects years of dedicated work to strengthen higher education quality assurance in Kosovo and across the broader region.
According to him, “Higher Education is increasingly global,” while students, research, and innovation cross borders. For this reason, quality assurance and accreditation have a very important international role.
In this context, Paydar emphasized that organizations such as the Kosovo Accreditation Agency play a vital role in building public trust and helping higher education institutions meet high standards while continuing to evolve and innovate.
He also underlined that CHEA believes strong and independent quality assurance organizations are essential to the future of higher education worldwide.
In conclusion, President Paydar once again congratulated the Kosovo Accreditation Agency on this important achievement and expressed his expectation for continued collaboration and friendship in the years to come.
