KAA Delegation Meets with JUAA President in Tokyo
During the General Assembly of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE), currently taking place in Tokyo, Japan, the delegation of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) met with Yoku Takahashi, President of the Japan University Accreditation Association (JUAA).
President Takahashi expressed her appreciation to the Kosovar delegation for their visit to Japan and conveyed her readiness to foster cooperation in the field of quality assurance in higher education.
KAA is a full member of INQAAHE and actively participates in the work of this global organization, which is the largest international network dedicated to accreditation and quality assurance in higher education.
The meeting forms part of KAA’s ongoing commitment to the internationalization of higher education in Kosovo and to strengthening partnerships with peer institutions across the globe.
The 18th INQAAHE Biennial Conference is being held from May 13 to 16, 2025, at the Akasaka Intercity Conference Center in Tokyo. Organized by the Japan University Accreditation Association (JUAA), the event gathers professionals and decision-makers from around the world to explore the latest developments in quality assurance in higher education.
Under the theme “The Big Bang Theory: A Paradigm Shift in Quality Assurance,” the conference focuses on four key sub-themes: quality assurance and the sustainability agenda; quality assurance and innovative learning pathways; quality assurance and artificial intelligence; and quality assurance and the recognition of qualifications and credentials.
These themes aim to address both the challenges and opportunities facing quality assurance in higher education, including the integration of emerging technologies, the demand for flexible learning, and the need for international recognition of qualifications.
The conference provides a dynamic platform for exchanging best practices, exploring innovations, and fostering international partnerships in the field of quality assurance. Participants have the opportunity to engage in interactive sessions, attend presentations by distinguished speakers, and contribute to shaping the future of higher education in an increasingly interconnected and technologically advanced world.
