On 25 June 2026, the Division for Evaluation and Accreditation of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) organized an information session with representatives and coordinators of higher education institutions in the Republic of Kosovo as part of the preparations for the 2027/2028 accreditation process.
The meeting was chaired by Mr. Arianit Krasniqi, Director of the Department for Evaluation and Accreditation, who presented the procedures for institutional accreditation and reaccreditation, as well as the accreditation and reaccreditation of study programs.
During the presentation, participants were informed about the application process through the e-Akreditimi electronic platform, the required documentation to be submitted, and the steps to be followed throughout the application process. Clarifications were also provided regarding the use of the platform and the applicable procedural requirements. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers on issues related to the accreditation process.
In accordance with the applicable legislation and the established timeline for the accreditation process, higher education institutions were informed that the e-Accreditation platform will be open for the submission of applications from 1 July to 31 July 2026.
By organizing information sessions and providing the necessary guidance, the Kosovo Accreditation Agency aims to support higher education institutions in preparing their applications and to ensure a transparent, efficient, and standards-based accreditation process in line with quality assurance principles in higher education.
