The President of the State Council of Quality (SCQ) of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), Assoc. Prof. Hasnije Ilazi, and the Director of the Department for Evaluation and Accreditation, Mr. Arianit Krasniqi, participated in the Annual Conference of the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE), held in Memphis, United States of America.

Within the framework of this conference, the KAA delegation held meetings with the President of the Accreditation Board, Dr. Ahmad Zargari; the Chair of the Board of Directors, Mr. Walt Pozgay; the Director of Accreditation at ATMAE, Ms. Amy Good; as well as other key stakeholders in the field of quality assurance in higher education in the United States.

The insights and experiences gained from this conference will contribute to advancing standards for the integration of technology in higher education programs and institutions in Kosovo. At the same time, this conference will further strengthen cooperation between the two counterpart institutions, while the American experiences will support the process of AKA’s membership in CHEA (the Council for Higher Education Accreditation).
