The Director General of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), Naim Gashi, accompanied by the Head of the Budget Division, Merita Rama, and Certification Officer Edona Rama, hosted a meeting with Salvador Elmazi, Director of the Budget Department at the Ministry of Finance, and Mevlide Shamolli, Senior Budget Officer.

During the meeting, KAA’s management expressed its appreciation for the continuous support provided by the Budget Department of the Ministry of Finance in the planning, financing, and management of the Agency’s budget.

Director General Naim Gashi thanked the Ministry of Finance for its ongoing cooperation and budgetary support, emphasizing that this assistance has been essential in achieving KAA’s strategic objectives and in implementing national and international quality assurance standards in higher education.

For his part, Salvador Elmazi, Director of the Budget Department, praised the work of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency, describing it as an example of sound budget management, prudent expenditure rationalization, and strong institutional performance.

On this occasion, the Director General of KAA presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Ms. Mevlide Shamolli on the occasion of her retirement, in recognition of her valuable contribution and continuous support to the Agency over the years. Her contribution included, among other things, participation in the development of policies and regulatory acts in accordance with the Law on Budget and the Law on Public Financial Management and Accountability.
