The logo and credentials of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency are placed on the ENQA website
On the official website of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) the logo and credentials of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) have been placed.
This has been made possible since the Board of ENQA has given the “affiliate” status to the Kosovo Accreditation Agency.
With the recommendation of ENQA, all decisions and communications of KAA will also carry the “ENQA Affiliate” logo.
On September 3, 2022, the director of ENQA, Anna Gover, has confirmed to the director of the KAA, Naim Gashi, that the application of the KAA for “affiliate” member status has been accepted.
This decision came after KAA has made progress in implementing ENQA’s recommendations and has reported concrete activities for guaranteeing quality in higher education in accordance with European Quality Standards and Guidelines (ESG).
ENQA was first established in 2000 as the European Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education to promote European cooperation in the field of quality assurance in higher education. In 2004, it became the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education with the aim to contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of the quality of European higher education, and to act as a major driving force for the development of quality assurance across all the Bologna Process signatory countries.
