U.S. Embassy in Pristina Congratulates Kosovo on KAA’s CHEA Recognition

The Embassy of the United States of America in Pristina has congratulated Kosovo on the occasion of the recognition of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency as a “recognized authority” by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in the United States.

“Congratulations to Kosovo on its Accreditation Agency being officially recognized in the United States by CHEA – Council for Higher Education Accreditation as a ‘recognized authority’ through 2033—an important milestone that affirms institutional quality, reform, and growing international trust in Kosovo’s higher education system!,” reads the congratulatory message of the U.S. Embassy, published on the Embassy’s official Facebook page.

The U.S. Embassy’s congratulatory message follows the official reception held at the Embassy for the President of the State Quality Council (SQC), Professor Hasnije Ilazi, and the Director General of the KAA, Naim Gashi.

During the meeting, the leaders of the KAA thanked the U.S. Embassy for its continuous support in strengthening the Agency’s institutional independence and professional capacities.
