With the support of the Embassy of the United States of America in Prishtina - Fulbright Project, in the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), on Thursday, 25 November 2021, the implementation project of the feasibility study for the general digitalization of processes was finalized and published at the Kosovo Accreditation Agency. The State Council of Quality (SCQ) of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) held on Tuesday, 23.11.2021 the next meeting in which the Action Plan for 2022 was approved. Prof. Asoc. Dr. Arta Basha-Jakupi, former member of the State Council of Quality - SCQ (2018-2021)     is engaged as an international expert at European accreditation agencies, those of Latvia and Romania. Prof. Basha-Jakupi was selected to carry out evaluations of programs in the field of architecture and urban studies, for programs at the Masters and Doctorate level. The State Attorney General, Sami Istrefi during a reception given to the director of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), Naim Gashi, said that KAA is fully respecting the legal framework of the Republic of Kosovo and is not endangered by any court dispute. Dear Sir/Madame, The Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) has recently adopted its supplemented Accreditation Manual (KAA Standards and Guidelines) and the Work Plan for the (re) accreditation of institutions of higher education and their study programs. At the invitation of the American counterpart agency – The Association of Technology, Management and Applied Engineering (ATMAE) which accredits all academic programs in the field of technology and engineering in the US, the delegation of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) and MESTI (NARIC Center), stayed for a week in Orlando, Florida, USA. A delegation of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) is participating at the International Conference of the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE) in Orlando, Florida, the United States of America. ATMAE is a counterpart institution of the KAA that accredits all academic programs in the field of technology and engineering throughout the United States. The State Council of Quality (SCQ) of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) in the extraordinary meeting held on 28.10.2021, discussed the only item on the agenda, which was the approval of eight reports of international experts for accreditation of academic programs. The SCQ approved all the reports of international experts and thus the accreditation process for 2021 is completed. In today's meeting, the SCQ was joined by the international member, Mr. Klemen Miklavič, which has previously been ratified by the Assembly of Kosovo. With the appointment of Mr. Miklavič the decision-making in the accreditation process has been restored.
