KAA presents in public discussion the Strategic Plan 2021-2025 and the Monitoring Methodology
Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), with the support of two projects of the Austrian Development Agency: Heras Plus Project and QAINT has presented on 01.12.2021 for public discussion the Strategic Plan 2021-2025 and the Monitoring Methodology and Post-Accreditation Procedures.
Until December 14, 2021, KAA will accept suggestions from all higher education institutions in the Republic of Kosovo.
The Director of the KAA, Naim Gashi, said that the Strategic Plan 2021-2025 of KAA is a basic document which will determine the orientation and direction of quality assurance processes in the higher education sector for the next 5 years.
“This Plan has been drafted in accordance with the mission of the KAA which has served as a guide for setting strategic objectives which enable the continuous evaluation of the effectiveness of the actions of the KAA. Also, this Plan has been drafted based on the principles applied in the European Quality Assurance Area (EHEA), especially the European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ESG 2015) as well as the recommendations of ENQA external evaluators.”, said Gashi.
He added that the Strategic Plan was drafted based on a broad consultative process which involved all relevant members of higher education in Kosovo. Through a comprehensive approach to this process, KAA has ensured that strategic objectives are in line with the requirements and needs of the higher education system in Kosovo and are appropriate to the context in which our quality assurance system is developed.
The contribution of all actors for the drafting of this Strategic Plan is an indicator of the increased commitment of the entire academic community for the continuous improvement of the quality of higher education in the Republic of Kosovo.
