Guidelines for student engagement in internal and external quality assurance of Kosovo Higher Education

KAA, within the project “Increasing student participation in internal and external quality assurance processes in Kosovo” funded by the U.S Embassy in Kosovo has prepared A guideline for Student engagement which aims to provide guidance on how students can contribute to quality provision and learning environments in higher education. The guidelines should also be used as a reference point when determining higher education legislation, accreditation provisions and institutional level regulations. The State Council of Quality (SCQ) of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) in its 97th meeting, held on 05.04.2022, has started the process of reviewing the reports of international accreditation experts at the level of institutions and study programs. In today's meeting some requests of higher education institutions were reviewed. SCQ has also discussed the process of reviewing standards at the bachelor and master level. A revised document is expected to be presented for public discussion soon.

Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) has successfully secured the support of the U.S Embassy in Kosovo for funding of the project “Increasing student participation in internal and external quality assurance processes in Kosovo”.
