European Commission Report for Kosovo, Very Positive for the Work of KAA

The European Commission report on Kosovo in the part about the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) is accurate, very positive, encouraging for our work and provides hope for our return to the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) and European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR).

Although affected by the pandemic, the European Commission assessed that “The Agency managed to complete the full accreditation cycle for the 2021-2022 academic year, reducing the number of programmes and institutions, based on quality criteria.” This shows that the KAA fully implements European quality standards, as in the process of accreditation during this year have been engaged 81 eminent international experts.

The European Commission praises our work in meeting the criteria for returning to ENQA and EQAR when it says “KAA continued efforts to regain membership”.

In the Report, the Kosovo Accreditation Agency did not receive any negative remarks on its work. If the European Commission Report on Kosovo is read carefully, we are the institution with the best performance in the Republic of Kosovo.

The European Commission has also confirmed the reports of civil society organizations in Kosovo, which have assessed the work of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency.
