Over 2400 academic staff declared on KAA’s E Accreditation platform

Kastriot Ilazi, the information technology systems administrator at the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), confirmed on July 25, 2024, that since the opening of the E Accreditation platform on July 1, 2024, more than 2400 academic staff members from all higher education institutions in the Republic of Kosovo have successfully declared their data’s.

According to the KAA Law, the declaration of academic staff and the application for the accreditation and reaccreditation process for the upcoming academic year is conducted from July 1 to July 31, 2024.

Since the platform’s opening on July 1, KAA has conducted training sessions with coordinators of higher education institutions and provided technical support through over 120 email responses and more than 200 technical support instances via phone calls.

KAA urges all higher education institutions to utilize the legal timeframe until July 31, 2024, to declare their academic staff and apply for the accreditation and reaccreditation process.

The E Accreditation platform has been advanced and modernized this year with funding from the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), through the HEI 25 Project.

All staff declaration data will be stored in the system, and from next year, the declaration process will be simplified.

The new E Accreditation platform has modernized the system, enhanced cybersecurity, and significantly improved data processing.
