SCQ Visits the International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM)
On May 19, 2025, the State Council of Quality (SCQ), together with the management of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), conducted an official visit to both campuses of the International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM), located in the southern and northern parts of the city.
During the visit, KAA representatives held meetings with the college’s management to discuss ongoing challenges and opportunities in enhancing the quality of higher education.
Professor Hasnije Ilazi, President of the SCQ, emphasized that such visits have become a regular practice of the Council, aimed at deepening collaboration and ensuring the active involvement of all stakeholders in the quality assurance process.
In this context, Professor Ilazi congratulated the IBCM leadership, academic staff, and students for the institution’s successful transition from a non-profit to a public higher education institution. She noted that this transformation is expected to have a positive impact on the institutional and financial sustainability of the college.
Professor Mihane Kerolli, Rector of IBCM, expressed her appreciation to the SCQ for its continued support in advancing the quality of academic programs and fostering the internationalization of higher education in Kosovo.
The International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM) is an accredited higher education institution offering academic programs in business, environmental management, information technology, and social sciences. With a strong focus on practical and internationally-oriented education, IBCM delivers instruction in English and provides dual degrees in partnership with European universities.
