The Declaration of 3005 teaching staff on the KAA E Accreditation Platform Successfully Completed
On August 2, 2024, the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) confirmed the successful completion of the application process for the accreditation/reaccreditation of higher education institutions in the Republic of Kosova, as well as the declaration of academic staff on the E Accreditation Platform, by the legal deadline of July 31, 2024.
Kastriot Ilazi, the IT systems administrator at KAA, said that within the legal timeframe from July 1 to July 31, 2024, a total of 3005 teaching staff from higher education institutions were registered on the Accreditation Platform. Ilazi mentioned that throughout the month, KAA staff were available to all academic personnel in Kosovo to provide technical assistance via emails, phone calls, or daily meetings.
To ensure the successful completion of this process, KAA had previously conducted training sessions for higher education institutions. This year, the declaration of academic staff and the application for the accreditation/reaccreditation of study programs have been advanced and modernized through the development of a new platform, funded by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) via the HEI 25 Project.
All declaration data will be stored in the system, simplifying the declaration process starting next year.
KAA extends its gratitude to the quality coordinators at all higher education institutions for their cooperation, which enabled the successful completion of this process.
