The Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) today organized a one-day workshop to review the draft Regulation on internal organization and systematization of jobs in the KAA. Following the successful completion of the institutional evaluation process, on Tuesday at the University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj, the Kosovo Accreditation Agency started the process of evaluation of academic programs. In the accreditation process 2021, there are 240 academic programs of all higher education institutions in the Republic of Kosovo which are being evaluated by renowned international experts. KAA remains committed to conclude this process within the foreseen timeline.

Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) and the members of the State Council of Quality (SCQ), after a consultative meeting held on Friday, 05.02.2021, inform all higher education institutions in the Republic of Kosovo that the Agency continues the process of evaluation for institutional and academic programs accreditation. PRESS RELEASE The State Council of Quality (SCQ) of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) held its 84th meeting on December 10th and 11th, 2020. The agenda of the meeting included the review of applications for accreditation and re-accreditation of higher education institutions (HEIs) in the Republic of Kosovo for the academic year 2020/2021. Kosovo Agency for Accreditation (KAA) and the Project for Higher Education, Research and Applied Sciences Plus (HERAS +), on Wednesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding, through which KAA will receive institutional and technical support to strengthen capacity for development and the regulation of higher education, as well as the fulfillment of the criteria for Kosovo's return to the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA).

The Chairman of the State Quality Council (SCQ), Gazmend Luboteni and the Director of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency, Naim Gashi, received in a meeting Mr. Agim Rushiti, director of the Agency for Quality in Higher Education in Northern Macedonia and Professor Mirvan Xhemajli. During the meeting it was discussed about the promotion of interstate cooperation and the exchange of experiences in strengthening the institutional capacities for raising the quality in higher education.
