During its 126th meeting held on July 22, 2024, the State Council of Quality (SCQ) of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) reviewed and decided on the reports of international assessment experts. In the same meeting, decisions were also made regarding the requests and complaints of higher education institutions. The members of the SCQ discussed the implementation of post-accreditation procedures in higher education institutions that had been previously decided upon.

KAA Director General Naim Gashi thanked U.S. Embassy officials Ms. Jennifer Lawson and Ms. Remzije Potoku for their institutional and financial support at a recent meeting. The Information Systems Administrator at the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (AKA), Kastriot Ilazi, conducted a training session on July 5, 2024, for higher education institutions regarding the process of declaring academic staff on the new E-Accreditation platform. On July 3, 2024, local and international members of the State Council of Quality (KShC) visited the Faculty of Education at the University of Prishtina. They met with the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Blerim Saqipi, and the Vice-Rector of UP, Professor Njomza Llullaku. In this meeting, the SCQ also reviewed several appeals and requests from higher education institutions. Additionally, the SCQ was briefed by the KAA administration on the progress of the accreditation and monitoring process of higher education institutions in Kosovo.
