Representatives of the US Embassy in Pristina visit the Kosovo Accreditation Agency
The president of the State Council of Quality (SCQ), professor Hasnije Ilazi and the director of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), Naim Gashi, have met representatives of the United States Embassy (USA) in Pristina, Mrs. Kelsey De Rinaldis, deputy public affairs officer and Ms. Remzije Potoku, specialist at the American Embassy for education policies.
The meeting discussed the institutional and financial support of the US Embassy for the Kosovo Accreditation Agency, as well as the work of the KAA in raising the quality of higher education.
The president of the SCQ, professor Hasnije Ilazi, said that the KAA is successfully implementing the plan for fulfilling the recommendations of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) and for raising the quality of study programs.
President Ilazi said that with the support of the US Embassy, the technical capacities of the KAA for providing professional services have been strengthened.
Ms. De Rinaldis expressed her satisfaction with the success shown by American projects in raising the capacities of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency. She has expressed the readiness to continue cooperation to improve the quality of higher education in Kosovo.
