The State Council of Quality (SCQ) of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), on 3 March 2026, held its regular annual meeting with higher education institutions in the Republic of Kosovo, namely with deans, vice-deans, quality coordinators, and programme directors. On 26 February 2026, a team from the Monitoring Division of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) conducted monitoring visits to the Nursing, Pharmacy, and Public Health study programmes at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Prishtina, as part of the ongoing assessment of the maintenance of quality criteria and the implementation of recommendations issued by international accreditation experts. The State Council of Quality (SCQ) of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), at its meeting held on 23 February 2026, following a thorough review of the reports submitted by international experts, resolved to grant five-year accreditation to the University “Ukshin Hoti” in Prizren and to the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (AKSP). The Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) hosted an American evaluation panel from the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) of the United States of America, within the framework of the process for recognition as an accreditation authority by the United States.
