The Kosovo Accreditation Agency is implementing a project on student involvement in quality assurance processes
In the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), students are recognized as key actors who should be involved in the shaping of their education and learning experience. The Prague Declaration signed by all EHEA education ministers stipulates that students should be considered equal members of the higher education academic community.
The Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) is committed to support the strengthening of the student role in the higher education system of the Republic of Kosovo. To this end, the KAA has developed a guide which is based on a set of European principles which provides assistance and guidelines to higher education institutions in Kosovo to develop a culture of student integration in both governance and internal quality assurance procedures.
The joint commitment towards increasing the involvement of students in these processes contributes to the improvement of the higher education system in the Republic of Kosovo and the return of the KAA to ENQA and EQAR. This project is financed by the US Embassy in Pristina.
