The KAA was represented by Mr. Flamur Abazaj, where the network held it’s first meeting, where all intended members of the network presented themselves, and provided feedback to a variety of topics presented by the network chairs.
The Global Academic Integrity Network is a consortium of education quality and integrity agencies worldwide joining forces to fight the rise of commercial academic cheating services targeting students, and it is endorsed by a variety of important international education bodies, such as, ENQA, the European Network for Academic Integrity, and ETINED.
Founded by Quality and Qualifications Ireland and Australia’s Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA), the network aims to tackle commercial cheating operations, protecting students, qualifications, and the integrity of national education systems.
GAIN will share experiences and resources to help other jurisdictions develop legislation, regulatory approaches and frameworks that penalize facilitating and advertising of cheating services.
The KAA in its effort to increase the levels of academic integrity in Kosovo, will share on the best practices provided by the network, and make sure to stay up to date with the international trends in preventing fraud and violations of academic integrity.
