The Kosovo Accreditation Council (KAA) is currently undergoing evaluation to become a CHEA-recognized accrediting organization and a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in the United States. The State Council of Quality (SCQ) of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) held its 144th regular meeting on 15 January 2026, during which several important agenda items related to accreditation processes and quality assurance in higher education in Kosovo were reviewed.
