A delegation from the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) participated in Zagreb in the commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the Croatian Agency for Science and Higher Education (ASHE). Two representatives of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) Arianit Krasniqi, Director of the Department for Evaluation and Accreditation and Ilirjane Ademaj-Ahmeti, Senior Officer for Evaluation and Accreditation participated in the 2025 European Quality Assurance Forum (EQAF), held from 12–14 November 2025 at Corvinus University of Budapest, Hungary. The Forum, jointly organized by ENQA, EUA, ESU, and EURASHE, is the largest annual gathering dedicated to quality assurance in higher education in Europe. The European Commission, in its Kosovo Report 2025, commended the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) for its European-level excellence in quality assurance in higher education. “In July 2025, the Kosovo Accreditation Agency became a member of the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher education, demonstrating Agency’s quality assurance processes full compliance with the European standards and guidelines”, the report states. On October 23, 2025, the General Assembly of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) elected Cristina Ghițulică, Director of the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ARACIS), as the new President of ENQA.
