The State Council of Quality (SCQ) of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) held its 121st meeting on March 6, 2024. During this meeting, it was decided that the second International Conference of the KAA on the topic of quality enhancement in higher education will take place in Prishtina on September 24, 2024. Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) delegation, on 6,7 and 8 March 2024, visited the institutions and stakeholders involved in the quality assurance (QA) of higher education in Helsinki and Tampere, Finland. The main purpose was to learn about good practice and discuss the experience in QA. Finland has had decades of tradition in quality enhancement of the research universities and universities of applied science through auditing and a range of other approaches. The State Council of Quality (SCQ) of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), on February 6th and 7th, 2024, convened its 120th meeting, during which it approved the Regulation for international accreditation experts. President of the State Council of Quality (SCQ) at the Kosovo Accreditation Agency, Professor Hasnije Ilazi, SCQ member Gëzim Tosuni, and KAA Director Naim Gashi conducted a meeting with the Conference of Rectors from public universities in Kosovo. Following approvals from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Finance and Transfers, the General Director of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), Naim Gashi, signed, on January 23, 2024, the Regulation for the Systematization of Job Positions within KAA, along with the new organizational chart.
