The State Council of Quality (SCQ) of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) in its 98th meeting, held on 26.04.2022, has discussed the setting of the weights of the standards for accreditation of study programs. The State Council of Quality (SCQ) of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) in its 97th meeting, held on 05.04.2022, has started the process of reviewing the reports of international accreditation experts at the level of institutions and study programs. In today's meeting some requests of higher education institutions were reviewed. SCQ has also discussed the process of reviewing standards at the bachelor and master level. A revised document is expected to be presented for public discussion soon.

Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) and the Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ASCAL) in Albania, have signed on 30.03.2022 in Prishtina, a Memorandum of Cooperation which provides for interstate cooperation in raising the quality of higher education. Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) has successfully secured the support of the U.S Embassy in Kosovo for funding of the project “Increasing student participation in internal and external quality assurance processes in Kosovo”. The President of the State Council of Quality (SCQ), Professor Hasnije Ilazi and the Director of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency, Naim Gashi, on 23.03.2022 received in a meeting the Managing Director of WUS Austria, Mrs. Veronika Nitsche and Mrs. Gurdun Feucht, Heras Plus expert and a member of the Board of the Austrian Accreditation Agency. Kosovo Accreditation Agency has been announced the winner of the TAIEX grant, a European Union program dedicated to assistance and support for institutions with Euro-integration aspirations. The State Council of Quality (SCQ) of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) in its 96th meeting, held on 21.02.2022, approved the Monitoring Methodology and Post-Accreditation Procedures. After a two-year work involving all actors in higher education in Kosovo, SCQ has approved the Methodology for monitoring higher education institutions in Kosovo, thus completing the latest recommendation of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA). The Kosovo Accreditation Agency on 01.02.2022 started the accreditation process at the institutional level for this year. The State Council of Quality (SCQ) has approved the applications of 17 higher education institutions for accreditation at the institutional level. In the first part of February, the evaluations of applications at the institutional level will be carried out, to continue with the process of evaluation of academic programs.
