PRESS RELEASE The State Council of Quality (SCQ) of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) held its 84th meeting on December 10th and 11th, 2020. The agenda of the meeting included the review of applications for accreditation and re-accreditation of higher education institutions (HEIs) in the Republic of Kosovo for the academic year 2020/2021. In the coming days, KAA will notify all HEIs about the results of the meeting, thus guaranteeing sufficient time for further procedures related to external evaluation. KAA and HERAS + have signed a Memorandum of Understanding

Kosovo Agency for Accreditation (KAA) and the Project for Higher Education, Research and Applied Sciences Plus (HERAS +), on Wednesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding, through which KAA will receive institutional and technical support to strengthen capacity for development and the regulation of higher education, as well as the fulfillment of the criteria for Kosovo's return to the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA).

Agjencia e Kosovës për Akreditim (AKA) dhe Projekti për Arsim të Lartë, Hulumtim dhe Shkencat e Aplikuara Plus (HERAS+), kanë nënshkruar të mërkurën Memorandumin e Mirëkuptimit, nëpërmes të cilit AKA do të përfitojë përkrahje institucionale dhe teknike për forcimin e kapaciteteve për zhvillimin dhe rregullimin e arsimit të lartë, si dhe plotësimin e kritereve për kthimin e Kosovës në Asociacionin Evropian të Sigurimit të Cilësisë në Arsimin e Lartë (ENQA).

The Chairman of the State Quality Council (SCQ), Gazmend Luboteni and the Director of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency, Naim Gashi, received in a meeting Mr. Agim Rushiti, director of the Agency for Quality in Higher Education in Northern Macedonia and Professor Mirvan Xhemajli. During the meeting it was discussed about the promotion of interstate cooperation and the exchange of experiences in strengthening the institutional capacities for raising the quality in higher education.
