The Senior Officer for Evaluation and Monitoring at the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), Shkelzen Gërxhaliu, is staying in Dusseldorf, Germany as part of a staff exchange with the German counterpart agency, the Accreditation Agency for Study Programs in Engineering, Informatics, Science Natural and Mathematics (ASIIN). During this stay, Gërxhaliu will be part of the panel for evaluation of a number of universities. The Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) and the Rectorate of the University of Pristina on 16.05.2023 organized an information session regarding the standards and process for accreditation of academic programs, with participation of quality coordinators and programme holders from all academic units of the University of Prishtina. A delegation of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) was received in Bratislava by the leaders of the Slovak Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (SAAVS), with whom they discussed about cooperation in the field of quality in higher education, academic exchanges and the possibility of joint projects. The State Council of Quality (SCQ) of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) held its regular meeting on 14.04.2023, in which several items of the agenda were discussed. In this meeting, the reports of international experts on the process of accreditation and re-accreditation at the institutional level and academic programs were reviewed and decided upon.
